Wisdom Walks

Walking mindfully in nature expands awareness and awakens intuition. Our long-ago ancestors understood this well. Often they would gain insight into life’s questions by visiting wild places and paying attention to natural images that “jumped out” at them, like a rock that resembled a familiar face. Later, they’d sit with an elder and explore how those impressions reflected their deepest feelings and expressed their inner wisdom.


Working with intuition in this spontaneous way connects us with our power. Rather than looking to friends, family or society for advice, our own gut feelings can give us clear direction. When we know our truth we can commit to living it more fully and with less hesitation. Gentle healing often comes from this inner clarity.

As your walk begins, you’ll be supported to set an intention to learn more about a life issue. Then we’ll walk, talk, and observe together. When the time feels right, we’ll sit and reflect.




I don't interpret directly, but instead ask questions, share associations and “hold space” in the time-honored way for the unfolding of your heart’s guidance. You will interpret your own experience.
